David Wise, age 82, passed away on August 29, 2019. Dave was a 2nd generation Nevadan born in Carson City on July 14, 1937 to Roy and Lynn (Stewart) Wise. He was an amazing man who loved life, he was easy going, caring, funny, loving, and always had the most positive attitude. He was always smiling, even in the end.

So, neither art imitating life, nor life imitating art. The Taupō team was still struggling with ideas four hours into their allotted 48, said GLFS member Kerence Stephen. (Teams have 48 hours to script, film, edit and submit a five-minute short.) “Then all of a sudden it came together. We were told we could use Nuki’s Boxing gym and because the weather looked bad, that seemed like a good place to set something. The theme ended up being wrestling, but it’s quite cool that we have got fighters in our group.”
