Salvation Army holding fund drive in Tri Cities on Saturday

The Salvation Army Tri-City Corps Community Center will host its annual Kettle Match Day on Saturday, Dec. 12.
Donors will have the chance to double their impact in a year of unprecedented need, thanks to a local business and two longtime Salvation Army supporters. Colonial Cafe and Jim and Mary Ann Lindquist will match all donations made at The Salvation Army s Red Kettles on Saturday in St. Charles, Geneva, and Batavia, up to $40,000.
The Kettle Match Day has the potential to be especially impactful this year. Some Salvation Army corps in the Chicago area have seen up to a fivefold increase in need. All donations made to the Red Kettles stay local.
