Missing Endangered Advisory put out for mother and son in Deming, NM
DEMING – The Deming Police Department is searching for 10-year-old Emilio Rodriguez and his mother Angela Garcia, 28. The two were last seen at around 6 p.m. on Tuesday April 20, 2021 leaving the Deming McDonald s in a 2008 white Chevy Cruz.
Emilio Rodriguez is described as a 10-year-old Hispanic male who is approximately 4-foot-tall weighting approximately 70 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Angela Garcia is described as a Hispanic female who is 5 foot 6 inches tall, weighing 142 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. They are believed to be driving a 2008 white Chevy Cruz displaying a New Mexico license plate number of AYTX57. It is unknown what their clothing description or direction of travel is.

DEMING – Cell phones were triggered early Easter Sunday with the familiar statewide Amber Alert emergency ring tone. At approximately 2:28 a.m. the alert was sent out by New Mexico State Police asking the public to contact the Deming Police Department regarding the whereabouts of two children, Aubri (3) and Adelina Lujan (4) who were last seen at 609 W. Third St. in Deming.
According to the Deming Police Department, the father, Jose Luis Lujan, 27, took the children from the home and were believed to be in a white in color 2007 Ford Explorer.

UPDATE: New Mexico State Police reported about 7 a.m. Sunday, April 4, that Adelina Lujan and Abri Lujan were found safe.
DEMING – New Mexico State Police are advising a father has abducted and made threats to harm his two young daughters.
The Amber Alert advises Adelina Lujan, 4, and Aubri Lujan, 3, were last seen at 2:28 a.m. Sunday, April 4, in the 600 block of West Third Street in Deming. Their father, 27-year-old Jose Luis Lujan, is suspected of taking them.
Police advise Jose Luis Lujan is believed to be driving a white Ford Explorer with one spare tire and bearing temporary registration. He is described as 5-foot-5, 210 pounds with a piercing and tattoo of Aubri on his left eyebrow.

New Mexico State police ID Darian Jarrott as officer killed in I-10 shooting

LAS CRUCES - A suspect shot and killed a New Mexico State Police officer in Luna County before being shot and killed on Interstate 10 in Las Cruces on Thursday.
NMSP officer Darian Jarrott, assisting Homeland Security Investigations, pulled over a white Chevrolet pickup truck being driven by Omar Felix Cueva near milepost 101 on Interstate 10 east of Deming. During the traffic stop, Cueva opened fire and killed Jarrot, said State Police Chief Robert Thornton.
