Five people were hurt, three critically, after multiple vehicles caught fire near on Interstate 95 in Delray Beach when a fuel tanker truck exploded. Southbound lanes of the highway reopened by late afternoon, but the crash site in the northbound lanes remains under investigation.
A fuel tanker and two cars were traveling on I-95 North near Atlantic Avenue at about 1:15 p.m. the tanker veered out of its lane for unknown reasons, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
