The event sold out about four days after reservations opened March 14. With more than 800 patrons expected to attend, several other coronavirus precautions will be taken..
On the night of the event, patrons will need to check in at the restaurant where their reservations were made. While there, patrons will get a temperature check, a wristband and a lanyard. The last two will be used to tell them apart from other visitors on the avenue.
Masks will be required throughout the event when patrons are not seated at their designated tables. There will also be fewer seats this year because of coronavirus restrictions.

Three years ago, Vice Mayor Ryan Boylston unseated then-Commissioner Mitch Katz and this year, Katz is running to take the seat back. The last three years I ve sat back and I watched my opponent serve himself, his businesses, his friends and his contributors over the interest of our residents. And I decided that Delray Beach deserved public servants who serve the public.
Katz points out that Boylston is the first commissioner in the history of Delray Beach to plead guilty to ethics charges while serving.
