The Delhi airport has initiated low visibility procedures due to the forecast of dense fog in northern India. Flight operations are currently normal, but disruptions are possible. The India Meteorological Department warned of dense fog in several regions of north India, including Delhi.
According to the Delhi Airport website, nine international flights and eight domestic flights flying out of Delhi and 11 flights flying into Delhi were delayed Monday morning.
Dense fog and haze engulfed the national capital on Saturday morning as temperatures dropped, with 16 flights being delayed at the Delhi airport. Officials said that 11 international and five domestic flights were delayed due to low visibility.
