Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) today announced the signing of a 400-key Taj branded hotel at Indira Gandhi International Airport's Terminal 3 in New Delhi in partnership with Chalet Airport Hotel.
Delhi airport chaos: As per sources, discussion on immigration and infrastructure was on agenda in the meeting chaired by Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla.
Following the complaints, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia made a surprise visit to Terminal 3, met the officials and directed them on ways to handle the situation.
Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that this congestion is also driven by the uptick in domestic passenger traffic which has surpassed pre-COVID levels.
IndiGo in its social media post on Twitter said, "The Delhi airports are experiencing high footfalls and the check-in and boarding time is expected to be longer than usual. Passengers are requested to reach the airport at least 3.5 hrs prior to domestic departures, and to carry only 01 piece of hand baggage weighing 7 kgs for a smooth security check."
