LYNDHURST, NJ Lyndhurst is getting a brand-new NJ Transit train station.
The Lyndhurst station is also moving locations. The current station, which sits at Kingsland, will be torn down and the new station will be built at the intersection of Delafield Avenue and Court Avenue. This is actually a much more convenient location closer to the commuter parking lot.
Lyndhurst is on NJ Transit s Main Line and is a vital link to the Bergen County rail network. Before COVID hit, the Lyndhurst station served an average of approximately 1,000 passengers every week day.

Cops: Man, 37, stabbed inside home in West Brighton

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Police on Tuesday are investigating a stabbing that occurred late Monday in West Brighton.
Detectives suspect that the man was stabbed by a woman he knew during a domestic incident, according to a source with knowledge of the investigation.
The assault allegedly occurred around 11 p.m. inside a home in the vicinity of Roe Street and Delafield Avenue, according to a spokesman for the NYPD.
A 37-year-old man was stabbed in the chest and was in stable condition when transported to Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton.
