(And, yes, there have been plenty of two-musician bands, as anyone with a White Stripes, Black Keys, or Deja Voodoo album will attest to). The rules are simple. After taking out an account, artists upload files they’re convinced will punch their ticket to stardom. From there, Canadian Music Week will contact three acts in each province that have stood out above the competition. Acts cannot be signed to a major label.
