hey, here in phoenix we are going on 16 days straight of temperatures upwards of 110 degrees, or even higher. it s currently approaching 113 today. now, we are outside of valley wise hospital. they say they have seen an influx in patients from heat related illnesses, whether it is heat exhaustion, burns or, at most severe, heatstroke. a lot of those burns have come from people who are laying on the sidewalk, laying on asphalt. we are talking about people without homes. maybe having nowhere else to go. i m going to point my temperature gauge, so you can see just how hot this is. this is clocking in at almost 180 degrees. so we have seen some people with their degree burns, including one man who is taken here just a couple of days ago. his body temperature was 107 degrees. now, the thing to remember here is that this is not the only place that is seeing extreme heat. we are seeing extreme heat in
