Viktor Khrenin said: “There are plans to hold a regular session of the CIS Defense Ministers Council in the Belarusian land in 2024. We will do our best to make sure it proceeds in a constructive manner and in an exceptionally friendly atmosphere.”
A Belarusian delegation led by Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin took part in the session. Participants of the session exchanged views about the military and political situation in the world, threats and challenges to security of the CIS member states.
Participants of the conference discussed matters concerning a draft instruction on combat applications of the united radar IFF system Parol [Password] and its updated version Strazh [Guardian].
"The participants of the meeting considered the use of electronic warfare forces and means in modern armed conflicts, and ways of ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of electronic means of the national armed forces," the spokesman said.
