i think people who are undecided are just flat out disgusted by this particular issue. it is really hard to imagine that bringing those four women into the debate hall, never mind having the political stunt, photo op, i mean, it was a stunt, doing what he did beforehand with them, right before a major presidential debate. hard to imagine that is going to make undecided voters say, oh, wow! i m going to vote for donald trump. that makes sense to me. just as larry and frank were saying, that was all about making sure that the bottom doesn t really fall out, that poll we were talking about, if we can put it back up, not only is it an 11 point gap, it s well below what has been his standard floor, which is kind of in the 40s. that means he lost his supporters, which he needed to get back before he could build on the undecided voters.
inappropriate thing for him to do and to raise. there s a reason why your cnn poll shows that women completely have a much better opinion of her than him. in fact, overall, her favorability after this debate last night was at 54%. trump s favorability was at 34%. 64% of people rated him unfavorably. i m sure that this tape, that the specter of him bringing those women in as a distraction, was a big part of that. so john, some people call bringing these women into the debate hall donald trump s hail mary pass. in your mind, did he score a touchdown? well, with all the talk of audiotapes that are leaked and women from the past that show up, i say we just go all in and have maury povich do the next debate. get rid of chris wallace, put the kids in boot camp and go down that road. we are already there, john. that should have been done a long time ago. more like jerry springer.
god. i can t believe he is doing this. as republicans are watching this debate and watching donald trump and wanting to see contrition. and, again, the debate hasn t started yet. here s donald trump, by the way, to interrupt for a second. here is donald trump getting out of his vehicle and entering the debate hall. and wanting to see something else. that is not what they are seeing. i believe that this is donald trump s final declaration of independence from republicans and, as we heard corey lewandowski earlier, criticizing reince priebus as a failed leader, i think what we see playing out at that level is donald trump saying i m going to do it my way. i m going to do this on my own. and the rest of you gloria, instead, has he boxed them in? i have a different interpretation. i m wondering if you are a republican member of the senate or congress who wants to throw in the towel on donald trump, have you just watched or learned

accused of bill clinton of misconduct and having them in that very room? reporter: it was extraordinary, tamron. and the strategy to get under secretary clinton s skin to try to rattle her campaign, saying that donald trump failed at that. secretary clinton kept her cool despite the fact that those clinton accusers were in the debate hall and the fact that donald trump accused her of being an enabler to her husband s bad behavior. earlier today on the today show asked robbie mook on that. look at how he responded. he s lobbying some serious allegations not only against her husband, not on the ticket, but against her for enabling or further victimizing some of the accusers. because voters don t want this to be what we re talking about. they want to talk about the issues. and the campaign is not about bill clinton. it s about hillary clinton. she s the one on the ballot with donald trump and what the voters are looking for is a president
