FALL RIVER The Fall River Deaconess Home welcomes Maureen K. Philbin as its next executive director; she has succeeded John F. Golden, who has retired after 50 years with the agency.
Philbin is an energetic and visionary leader with more than 25 years of experience. She has built a stellar reputation managing non-profit organizations in the fields of child welfare, advocacy, education, behavioral health and systems of care administration.
Prior to leading the Deaconess Team, Philbin served as the Chief Operating Officer of Day One in Providence and the Senior Vice President of Network Services for Child & Family Services of Newport County. Along with her extensive professional experience, Philbin is an alumni and adjunct faculty of Salve Regina University in Newport, RI.
