Late steal, Miles basket spark Mad Ants to thrilling victory

Mad Ants coach Tom Hankins had plenty of things concerning him when the game began at 11 a.m. today: His team s physical and mental fatigue for a second game in 20 hours; losing arguably his best player, Oshae Brissett, to a minor leg injury minutes before tip-off; and knowledge that the Mad Ants can hardly afford to lose if they want to qualify for the postseason.

Mad Ants schedule unveiled; roster bolstered
JUSTIN A. COHN | The Journal Gazette
The Mad Ants’ 15-game regular season, to be played entirely in Orlando, Florida, will begin Feb. 10 and end March 5, the G League announced Wednesday.
And the Mad Ants’ roster was bolstered, too.
The NBA’s Indiana Pacers assigned 6-foot-4 guard Jalen Lecque to the Mad Ants. They also formally announced that Brian Bowen II and Cassius Stanley, who are on two-way contracts, would be with the Mad Ants, but that had long been expected.
