(OLNEY) The Richland County School Board met last night in Olney for its regular monthly meeting in December. The Board : approved the monthly bill listing for November worth $2,467,433 : noted that the state owes the District $812,655 to date : heard an update on the High School renovation project : noted that students will return to the renovated High School for orientation next Monday and Tuesday, December 21 and 22 with classses to resume at RCHS on January 5th, 2021 : heard some concerns about opening the High School to students next week : noted an open letter from the Board on home school participation : approved the 2020 Tax Levy as presented : approved the District’s Risk Management Plan Program for 2021-2022 : awarded the District’s fuel bids to Wabash Valley Service Company : approved an updated memorandum of understanding between the District and Richland County Education Association (RCEA
