Letter: Let’s say thanks to Bowen
Bob has enriched so many lives in Davis, of the young and young-at-heart.
Let’s try to list the activities. “The Davis Children’s Nutcracker”; Rainbow Summer; internships and jobs for college, high school and junior high kids; twinkle lights downtown; Hamburger Patty; bike races; Picnic Day festivities; holiday tree lighting and parade; employee awards shows; July 4 fireworks, Warm Remembrance; Davis Bike Museum; Davis Teen Center; Pirates of Stonegate; Varsity Theater remodel we could go on and on. Make your own list. He certainly had much help, but he was always the bright, positive face of these projects.
