that. but what i wanted to ask, i wanted to ask you kind of the opposite argument that i hear a lot is that yes. maybe it s the democrats that are the racists because they re constantly using the race card every year and trying to drum up hatred for white people with the black lives matter and all that stuff. but, and in addition to that, of course, the open borders which i constantly hear democrats and liberals like you say by 2050 whites will be a minority, isn t that great? and you get big applause. it s you re the racists. you want to displace the white population by 2050 if we continue these immigration policies. how is that not racism? you are the racists. [inaudible conversations] so, first, just one little piece of evidence. when you see marchers in charlottesville, some of them wearing white hoods and chanting racist and anti-semitic slogans and the president says there are a lot of fine people there and says nothing after a bunch of people are murdered i
so character and the presidency is quite a subject, isn t it? here in grand rapids, we are lucky to enjoyed a fine example of moral courage in the presidency of gerald ford. we thought we would open tonight s program with a brief clip of gerald r ford: a test of character, a documentary that aired on national geographic last year. after that the investor will come up and differ much about why he felt the need to initiate this series. even as president ford was growing in assurance in popularity, he knew he could not truly heal the country until the situation with richard nixon was resolved. the former president had resigned, but would he be prosecuted for his actions? at ford s first major press conference a month into his presidency, journals asked him if he would use his power power to pardon nixon. are you saying that it is an option you will still onsider? every day was a different issue. it was serious times. he needed to and wanted to attack those problems, but you ca
