Wine bar Taste the Olive and Vine grows in downtown Wilmington, NC

Taste the Olive and Vine, which moved to downtown Wilmington more than two years ago, has expanded to a location next door. Although they still operate under the same business name, owner Randy Hall has created a separate space for the gourmet shop and the wine bar.  The shop, which he is calling The Olive, is now at 242 Princess St. It’s open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday selling a variety of products like olive oils, vinegars, sea salts, and kitchen accessories.   The Vine, or the wine bar part of the business, is still on the corner at 25 N. 3rd St. But Hall said they now have expanded the menu seating and hours.
