KOTA KINABALU (Nov 16): Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) and Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) have reached an agreement to commence official discussions on the establishment of understanding and cooperation.

KOTA KINABALU: Major native-based parties Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) and Sabah STAR are set to begin discussing strengthening cooperation and unity at the grassroots level.
In the November 1999 federal election, PBS only managed 3 parliamentary seats, a far cry from the 8 seats that it won in 1995 and 14 in 1990. The 3 seats were in Bandau (Dr Max), Tanjong Aru (Dr Yee Moh Chai) and Tan Sri Pairin (Keningau). The trio was seen as the Flagship Carrier of PBS.
KOTA KINABALU: Delegates of the state's oldest political party - Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) - will discuss the possibility of a merger with fellow native-based Sabah STAR over the weekend.
RANAU: PBS Deputy President, Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam said all its leaders and members need to sacrifice for the party because they are fighting for the people of Sabah.
