Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford People are fundraising for a group of NHS staff working on the front line of the pandemic at Darent Valley Hospital after they were all targeted by catalytic converter thieves. Four members of staff had their catalytic converters stolen from their cars as they worked shifts inside the Dartford hospital on Monday. The vehicles were all parked on Darenth Valley Road in the staff car park, and are understood to have been targeted between 8am and 5:30pm on January 11. Kent Police have since shared a public appeal seeking information. At present no suspects have been identified however officers from the Dartford Community Safety Unit are conducting enquiries to establish the full circumstances.

A pink-gloved car thief is being hunted by police after a spate of incidents across one town.
Many vehicles have been targeted in Dartford since New Year s Eve with items including satellite navigation device, money and a multi-tool stolen from seven cars.

Officers have now issued a safety warning and reminded residents not to leave valuables in their cars overnight.
The cars were parked in Princes Road, Ashen Drive, St Ronanâs View, Knole Road, Beacon Drive, Page Close in Bean and Balmoral Road.
