In November 2020, Dharmendra announced a sequel to his 2007 sports-drama Apne, which had also featured his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. While the three Deols will feature in the second instalment of the film, this time they will also be joined by Sunny’s son Karan. The young actor had made his Bollywood debut in 2019 with his father’s directorial, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. Karan will play a boxer in the film and will start his prep soon.
