On Sunday, December 26, 2021, at approximately 9:00 a.m., police responded to the area of Main Street and Duke Street, in Prince Frederick, for the reported traffic complaint. The 911 caller reported a black Nissan sedan was parked at the end of Woodacres Court and appeared to have damage. The vehicle was occupied by a white male operator and a white female passenger, with the male subject appearing to have blood over him.
The Calvert County Office of the County Attorney, on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), will hold a public town hall meeting Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, from 7-9 p.m., to receive public input on a revised draft resolution regarding the creation of a Calvert County Police Accountability Board (PAB). The meeting will be held at the Calvert Pines Senior Center at 450 West Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick.

Adam Paul Sohovich, 30, of Edgewater
On Sunday, March 14, 2021 at approximately 3:55 p.m., a deputy from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office was stationary at the intersection of Dares Beach Road and Solomons Island Road in their marked patrol vehicle. The deputy observed a silver 2005 Toyota passenger car traveling Northbound at a high rate of speed, run a red light at the intersection. The deputy immediately activated his emergency lights and stopped the vehicle just prior to Steeple Chase Drive. As the deputy pulled up, the driver had already had his driver’s door opened and his driver’s license and registration in his hand. The deputy made contact with the driver who was identified as Adam Paul Sohovich, 30, of Edgewater.
