becoming an asset. it s at 95.1. now, the ifo institute across in germany just come out with some figures and they are telling us the business climate index has risen for the month of january. the january ifo reading came in at 95.8 and that is ahead of the expect ages. we were looking for 95.1, we were looking for 95.8. let s get out to patricia in frankfurt for a bit more details. this is actually really good that we have a better than expected number here. we did expect an increase, but only a marginal increase. the expectation index at 106, far better than expected. we did see an increase up to 99.2. so all in all, it looks fairly good in terms of the numbers. now we ll have to see what the ifo institute is going to say about the prospect of recovery. we heard from hans from the institute over the last few trading weeks. he thinks there won t be a recovery. there will be a stabilization and the main reason here is the lack of investment. it will be a very lackluster k
