This was the first time Teamster Local 830 has ever gone on strike. If the strike had continued, brands like Budweiser, Heineken and Miller Lite could have been in short supply across the city, its suburbs and nearby counties.
Beer workers in the Delaware Valley have reached a deal that will see their wages increase and their week-long strike end with only days before the 4th of July.
