Crypto-Focussed, Phil Ivey-Fronted Virtue Poker Ready for Real-Money Launch in May 4 Min read It’s been a long road from concept to fruition for the cryptocurrency-based online poker site Virtue Poker, with Phil Ivey still in place as its leading spokesplayer, and a pending real-money launch slated for next month. For three and a half years, Phil Ivey has promoted an online poker room that didn’t actually exist. That will soon change with Virtue Poker’s planned May launch. Leaving Las Vegas Wealthy: Woman Hits $300K Jackpot at Airport

Leaving Las Vegas Flying High: Texas Woman Hits $300K Jackpot at Airport 3 Min read If your Las Vegas poker trip was a complete failure due to some unfortunate bad beats, you can still go home a big winner on your way out of town. A lucky woman recently binked a $300,000 jackpot while waiting for her flight at the soon-to-be renamed McCarran International Airport (will become Harry Reid International Airport). She seems a lot more excited than when Dan Colman shipped the One Drop in 2014 for $14 million. (Image: Twitter/Las Vegas Locally) The woman, identified only as Megan H. from Flower Mound, Texas, posed for a picture next to the Wheel of Fortune slot machine she played afterwards. Her celebration was captured in a brief video posted to Twitter.

The letter, written by DCMS Committee chair Julian Knight MP, follows the 5 January opening hearing of the Committee’s inquiry into the future of UK music festivals, during which festival operators emphasised the urgent need for Government support. At a crucial point in festival planning schedules, MPs warn that organisers and investors are unable to risk repeating losses sustained in 2020 unless events can be insured against cancellation.
