York County district attorney asks judge to seal warrant for 15-year-old wanted in homicide

District Attorney Dave Sunday said he signed off on the decision to seek a seal order in the case of Alexis Cado-Suero. He is wanted in the deadly shooting of Tyree Smart, 16, which happened on West Newton Avenue near Aunt Jo Lane in York on March 27.
Sunday said his office made the move based on the circumstances of the investigation as well as for reasons that are outlined in the underlying motion to seal. Common Pleas Judge Harry M. Ness, he said, approved the request.
