A new traineeship programme for 12 young adults is being delivered at Rochdale AFC Community Trust through the Dale Works employability programme.
The football club’s official charity launched ‘Dale Works’ in January – an employability programme which, through a range of different offers, is helping to get people into jobs, education or training.
The ‘Dale Works’ courses, funded by the European Social Fund, are ideal for those who are wanting to embark on their first experience of work or for those who are thinking of returning to work, education or further training, but primarily want to develop their vocationally focused skills.

A free 12-week employability course is being run by the Rochdale AFC Community Trust to support people back into employment.
The ‘Dale Works’ courses, funded by the European Social Fund, are ideal for those who are wanting to embark on their first experience of work or for those who are thinking of returning to work, education or further training, but primarily want to develop their vocationally focused skills.
There are two programmes, one of which is a low level ‘Steps to Change’ course – aimed at those who may be more vulnerable, those who may suffer with poor mental health or low confidence or those who wouldn’t necessarily know how to access such valuable help into employment or further training.
