Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a two-day visit to Gujarat, during which he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for development projects worth Rs 5,950 crore. The visit includes paying tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the Statue of Unity in Narmada district, offering prayers at the Ambaji temple in Banaskantha district, and inaugurating various projects during a public function at Dabhoda village in Mehsana district.

PM Modi will be on a visit to Gujarat on October 30 and 31, during which he is scheduled to launch a host of development projects and attend the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity Day celebrations at the Statue of Unity, officials said.
