These remarks were made during a courtesy call on him at the Manhyia Palace by Daasebre Oti Boateng, Omanhene of New Juaben, who developed the model for Ghana, Africa and the world. Otumfuo who has closely followed the development of the model noted that, given the overwhelming contemporary development challenges, governments alone cannot effectively respond to them but needs community assistance across the nation to do so.

Dubbed, Operation Clean Communities , the novelty forms part of the New Juaben Traditional Council community development efforts within the implementation strategy of the existing award-winning Root-based development Model (RBM). This initiative was adopted during the Council’s meeting at the Omanhene’s Palace in Koforidua. Introducing the proposal, Daasebre Professor (Emeritus) Oti Boateng, Omanhene of the Traditional Area, explained that health is one of the six major development categories within the RBM approach.

According to Omanhene of New Juaben Traditional Area Daasebre Prof. (Emeritus) Oti Boateng, the historic meeting forms part of the leadership of New Juaben Traditional Council’s avowed agenda to invest in appropriate technology aimed at discussing emerging matters in a bid to achieve the core development goals, propel the mission and vision of the traditional area despite Covid-19 pandemic.
