Brookfield Business Partners Reports First Quarter 2021 Results

1.01 Brookfield Business Partners generated Company EBITDA of $387 million for the three months ended March 31, 2021 compared to $294 million for the three months ended March 31, 2020 reflecting increased EBITDA in our Business Services and Industrials segments, partially offset by reduced contribution from our Infrastructure Services segment. For the three months ended March 31, 2021 Company FFO was $217 million ($1.46 per unit) compared to $152 million ($1.01 per unit) in the prior year on a comparable basis excluding the benefit of gains on dispositions. Net income attributable to unitholders for the three months ended March 31, 2021 was $530 million ($3.57 per unit) compared to net loss of $126 million (loss of $0.84 per unit) in the prior year. Net income included gains generated from our reduced GrafTech interest, partially offset by costs recorded at Clarios primarily related to the closure of one of its North American recycling facilities and continued optimization of
