CLEVELAND â An Ohio Army National Guard soldier who was deployed to the Cuyahoga County Corrections Center was assaulted by an inmate Tuesday, according to the Ohio National Guard.
The soldier was assaulted Tuesday morning and required treatment at a local hospital, the Ohio National Guard said. The soldier has since been released from the hospital.
Details regarding the assault were not provided.
The Ohio National Guard said that it will âcontinue to cooperate with local law enforcementâs investigation of the incident.â
