Dean is an internationally acclaimed British artist who has been the subject of multiple solo exhibitions across Europe, the US, and Mexico, and is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the Sixth Benesse Prize at the 51st Venice Biennale, the Hugo Boss Prize at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York, and the Kurt Schwitters Prize.

(WTXL) — Florida State University will honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. during its 33rd Annual MLK Week from Monday, Jan. 18, through Friday, Jan. 22. The week-long celebration will feature a range of events, including virtual offerings, inspired by the theme “The Black Women in Our Lives.” The goal of the week is to bring the FSU and Tallahassee communities together to reflect on the past and support one another to engage in social justice action and advocate for the civil rights of all.

PrintAustin, founded in 2013 by Austin-based printmakers Cathy Savage and Elvia Perrin, is an artist-led nonprofit organization working to showcase traditional and contemporary approaches in printmaking.
