The City of La Crosse will open three ice rinks by the end of the year.
They are located at Poage Park, the Oktoberfest Shelter in Copeland Park and Riverside Park.
With colder weather here, Parks and Rec staff say they’re happy bring the option back to the community.
“Especially this year with COVID limiting so many outdoor gatherings and indoor gatherings, we want people to come here. We want families. We want kids to come here and enjoy their experience,” said La Crosse Department of Parks and Recreation recreation coordinator Mckenzie Wilson.
