But also because my mother introduced all of us to the American Red Cross as young people and to its work with the candy stripers and to its devotion to good. Were hearing from the rescuers that saved her life. Im jacqueline london. Tonight the girl is in serious but stable condition. She and her friends ran into trouble while exploring icy waters in monmouth county. From the sky and the ground you could see emergency crews working feverishly to rescue a girl in sandy hook bay. Jack houston is one person credited with saving her life. He will be fine. The girl and two friends climbed on a parttime that led out to the water. The girl lost her footing and fell. Emergency responders were called around 3 00 afternoon. She was in about waste deep water. They found themselves in a bad situation.
