Worcester police arrest 16-year-old boy in connection with non-fatal shooting of another teen at Crompton Park

Police in Worcester arrested a 16-year-old boy on a warrant on Thursday after another 16-year-old boy was shot at Crompton Park on May 7.
While an arrest was made, police said the investigation continues after a teen was shot around 7:45 p.m. Friday near the playground area of Crompton Park.
After arriving, officers provided the teenager with medical aid at the scene and he was taken to a hospital, police said. His injuries are not considered life-threatening, authorities said.
Police did not release any further information regarding the incident, including any charges that may have ben filed.
