Man, 57, arrested in connection with vehicle spray-painting spree in Queens © Provided by RADIO.COM Suspect NEW YORK (WCBS 880)  A Queens man arrested and charged Friday after dozens of vehicles were spray-painted in Astoria since March. Herberto Torres, 57, was charged with 46 counts of making graffiti, 46 counts of criminal mischief and 46 counts of possession of a graffiti instrument, police said. Torres was charged days after police released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in connection with the vandalism spree. Police said the vandal first struck on March 26, when he spray-painted 20 vehicles on 35th Street, between 31st Avenue and Broadway, in a two-hour span.

NYPD Investigating 2 Deadly Stabbings on A Subway Line

New York, NY (77WABC)  – New York City Police are investigating two deadly stabbings which both happened on the A Subway Line late Friday night and early on Saturday morning. The first stabbing according to the NYPD took place just before 1130pm Friday evening at the Mott Avenue and Beach 22nd Street Station in Far Rockaway.   101st Precinct Detectives received a 911 call of an unconscious man who was on the train. There is no A train service between Broad Channel and Far Rockaway-Mott Av while NYPD conducts an investigation at Mott Av. Far Rockaway-bound A trains will be rerouted from Broad Channel to Rockaway Park-Beach 116 St .
