For the sixth year, Amanda Minton, director of the Crawford County Historical Museum (CCHM), has worked to bring the county’s Civil War heritage to life during Pittsburg’s Little Balkans Days celebration.
Take a trip back in time to the Kansas frontier during the Civil War. Over the holiday weekend, reenactors from across Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma will descend upon the Crawford County Historical Museum (CCHM) to refight a battle and give visitors a peek at life on the plains in mid-19th century America.
With the official start of summer right around the corner, Wacky Wednesdays started back up for the 2022 season at the Crawford County Historical Museum this week.
