Town’s Jaime Peters won his 26th full Canadian cap overnight as his side drew 2-2 with Ecuador in a friendly in Toronto. The versatile 24-year-old came on as a 79th minute sub in midfield in a game which was a warm-up for next week’s CONCACAF Gold Cup in the US.

Former Town goalkeeper Craig Forrest has been released by West Ham. The Canadian joined the Hammers from Town back in the summer of 1997 for £500,000. This season has seen Forrest recuperating after an operation for testicular cancer.
