Paediatric dept on alert; new centres at Akurdi, Thergaon for COVID-19.
The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has decided to restart non-COVID treatment facilities at the post graduate institute of Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital (YCMH) following the decline in cases.

COVID facility. The decision was taken to prevent
non-COVID patients from getting exposed to the virus. However, anticipating the third wave, a department for paediatric COVID cases will be kept ready.
J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated a 500-bed dedicated Covid facility set up by the DRDO in Jammu to help the Union Territory deal effectively with the Covid-19 pandemic.
