Over the weekend. Arresting a 23yearold woman from worcester overnight in connection with the beating death of 44yearold Gloribel Orengo of lowell. The 23yearold amirilies huertasperez has been charged right now with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. We are told that that charge may be upgraded. Police say orengo was asked to leave Party Saturday night at an apartment in lowell when she was attacked by a group of people outside in a parking lot. She was with her 28yearold son who the time of the deadly attack. Friends of the victim here at the courthouse today tell us the mother of four and grandmother of three didnt deserve any of this. A couple of cars had pulled over. Then the silver sedan may have turned and pulled in front of the cruiser and been hit broadside. It is driver of the vehicle and the Sheriffs Department investigator were both taken to the hospital. Sources tell me that the investigator was up and Walking Around and the person in the other vehicle may h we understand there was also a police dog in the Police Cruiser as well taken for some treatment.
