Thousands have taken to the streets in cities across Brazil, demanding that President Jair Bolsonaro be impeached over his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has killed over half a million people in the country.
The demonstrations on Saturday followed reports to Congress highlighting irregularities in vaccine procurement by Bolsonaro’s government.
