BCCI frames 3-members committee to look after JKCA affairs

Excelsior Sports Correspondent JAMMU, June 15: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today constituted a three members committee to look after the affair of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) in a meeting in which Retd Brig Anil Gupta (Senior BJP leader) has been appointed Administrator while two other members including Sunil Sethi who is also BJP spokesperson as legal expert and Mithun Manhas a veteran cricketer as a member. The development regarding formation of the committee was confirmed by the newly appointed Administrator of the JKCA, Retd Brig Anil Gupta with Excelsior. He disclosed that a meeting was held under the leadership of BCCI president Sourav Ganguly in presence of secretary BCCI Jai Shah and treasure Arun Dhumal wherein three members committee including him were part of the committee to look after the day to day affair of the JKCA.

Delhi HC allows one representative of WB Kabaddi Associates to attend federation meet ANI | Updated: Jan 07, 2021 20:47 IST NDew Delhi [India], January 7 (ANI): The Delhi High Court has allowed one representative of West Bengal Kabaddi Associates (WBKA) to attend the Annual General Body meeting of Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI). A single-judge bench of Justice Prateek Jalan said that the attendance of the West Bengal Kabaddi Associates, petitioner s representative will be merely as an observer and to render such assistance as the Administrator may consider appropriate, in view of its experience as contended. The petitioner, West Bengal Kabaddi Associates advocate Rajiv Tyagi assured the court that the petitioner s representative will participate in accordance with the directions of the Administrator and will not cause any disruption in the proceedings of the meeting.
