Paris Saint Germain have one of the most formidable attacking duos in world football, and it s fair to say that their contract situations have developed into a bit of a saga in recent months.
However, one half of the duo has now committed himself to the club. It was announced recently that Neymar had agreed a new deal with PSG, keeping him at the Parc des Princes until 2025.
This announcement would have been unimaginable in 2019, when the Brazilian was determined to leave Paris and return to Barcelona. But, since then, things have changed. PSG have truly established themselves as a European force and Neymar has grown to be truly happy at the club.

Paris [France], May 8 (ANI): French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on Saturday announced that Brazilian striker Neymar Jr has signed a contract extension for a further three seasons with the club until June 30, 2025.
Since joining the club in 2017, the Brazilian international (103 caps, 64 goals) has carved out a place among the Paris Saint-Germain club legends.
With 85 goals and 51 assists in his 112 games for the club, PSG s twinkle-toed no.10 has also broken into the top ten scorers in the club s history.
Neymar Jr has won 9 trophies so far with the RougeBleu: three Ligue 1 titles (2018, 20192020), two Coupes de France (20182020), two Coupes de la Ligue (2018,2020) and two Trophees des Champions (20182020).
Speaking to
Telefoot, Giuly said: I m going to compare Ronaldinho and Neymar on a career level. They have everything, but they don t give everything to be even higher.
The former PSG and Barcelona winger, however, is hopeful that Neymar will agree to extend his contract with the Ligue 1 champions, with his current deal set to expire in summer 2022.
Giuly said: Of course that is an important message for us, for his team-mates and for the supporters. He shows his love and commitment to the club, it is something very important.
