We re approaching a year since New Zealand s borders were closed due to Covid-19. Since then, Kiwis have had only one option for a holiday: paradise. Many of us have probably taken a trip to the usual hotspots like Queenstown or Rotorua. So this year, it s time to look a little deeper – and explore lesser-known regions like Manawatū and its main city of Palmerston North. And, as I found out, it s full of unexplored gems.
