Severe weather pounded parts of Arkansas and Oklahoma overnight, with a tornado touchdown confirmed in Roland by the National Weather Service and an Arkansas courthouse getting significant damage.Storms damaged the roof of the Crawford County Courthouse. Debris from the building could be seen across the lawn of the courthouse. Lights inside the courthouse were flashing while 40/29 reporter Jamie Weiss reported from the scene. A tornado-warned storm moved through the area around 10 p.m. Monday. It s not known at this time whether a tornado or straight-line winds caused the damage. Crawford County Emergency Manager Brad Thomas said there is significant damage in many places across the county, including downed trees and power lines which were blocking roadways. People from Arkansas and Oklahoma reported seeing storm damage in their neighborhoods.
