Sullivan County Commissioner Ben Nelson presented the formal proposed 2024 fiscal county budget to the County Delegation on June 13 in the Sugar River Technical Center, Claremont.
On Monday, Governor Wes Moore signed State’s Attorney Jaymi Sterling’s legislative initiative, “The St. Mary’s County – Transfer of Child Support Unit and Personnel to the Child Support Administration Bill (HB 526)” into law.
If signed by Maryland’s governor as expected, the legislation would eliminate a mandatory fare hike and allow the transit agency more flexibility to set its own prices.
