Kandiyohi County continues to support the massive opioid settlement which requires opioid manufacturers and distributors to pay for their involvement in the opioid crisis in the country.
The Swift County Board is seeking federal funds for improvements at the Appleton Off-Highway Vehicle Park while separately working to acquire more land. The commissioners and Appleton Sportsmen's Club representatives discussed how the park and the club's shooting range adjacent to the park can safely co-exist and possibly benefit each other.
Swift County ready to make upgrades to Law Enforcement Center lower level, Human Services building
The Swift County Commissioners voted to move forward with work in the lower level of the Law Enforcement Center as one project instead of splitting the work over two years due to estimates for significant cost savings and to minimize disruptions to the operations of the Sheriff s Office.
