Reporter this intersection is cleared now. Just a few seconds ago, both vehicles were towed away. Take a look. This was the scene earlier. Metropolitan police say 5 45 this morning, a sedan and suv collided here at south capitol and southeast. The crash was sufficient and the air bags in the sedan were deployed. Two officers were injured, but not seriously. They just cleared the scene after making all their markings and documents the crash. Again, two officers injured, but not seriously.
