it is called america first. jillian: donald trump touting his achievements in new hampshire. todd: the president lost the granite state in 2016 x 3000 votes. jillian: joining us is our international spokesperson, thank you for joining us, we appreciate it. lost by 3000 votes, seems to me this is a state that is very much at play. what are we looking at in new hampshire? reporter: the granite state is in play. judging by enthusiasm alone, a packed house, thousands of people outside that couldn t get into the arena and down the street joe biden had a counter rally if you can call it that of 30 people. that shows you where the enthusiasm level is for this president because he is delivering on the promises he made. 6 million jobs, look at the job growth in new hampshire, 1700 new manufacturing jobs, 2.5%
said they didn t want those visits to hospitals to be a photo opportunity, they did later release videos of their own and now we re getting another look at just what it was that the president was doing, particularly in the hospital in el paso. we are getting a video of someone who was in the hospital that shows the president praising the medical staff there, praising them and their response to what is essentially such a tragedy but also pivoting to talk about himself. look at this group of people, can you believe this? they are fantastic. i was here three months ago, we had a speech. what was the name of the arena. that place was packed, right? that was some crowd. we had twice the number outside and then you had this crazy beto. beto had like 400 people in a parking lot. reporter: so you see the president there talking about that rally he had back in february when beto o rourke held a counterrally against the president talking about the
yesterday we carried live on this show with one of the victims who is going to face a lot more surgeries going forward. this is all coming while there s, again, a presidential election, but all some changes happening in texas and politics. because i have the two of you here. you follow this stuff closely. beto o rourke. he was congressman last time around he took on senator ted cruz. he fell short in that state wide effort but got a lot of name i.d. he traveled the state, raised $80 million. he s going to be there on the ground in texas. he s going to have a counter rally. this comes on a day when national journal sounding a warning for republicans in texas. let me read to you from his column that he just wrote today. he said for 2020, in a good night for democrats it s very plausible that they could win texas and its 38 electoral votes pick up for the five state house seats and give koryn a run for its money, but it s also
head, i know you ve just gotten there. you also know el paso really, really well. you and i have been on shows together before and you ve reported from el paso a number of times. can you tell me how the community is reacting, how they would react, in the wake of such a horrific incident? reporter: i think there s a feeling of stunned disbelief throughout the city. if you remember, earlier this year there was a big rally here between president trump and beto o rourke, essentially, where there was a lot of talk, the president described el paso as one of the more dangerous places in the city, that ruffled the feathers of many people in el paso and there was a counterrally to his visit. the point of the story is to shed light on the fact that many people in the city consider themselves living in one of the safest places in the united
