Environmental Services Group will undertake a CCTV inspection program of Council’s stormwater network. A CCTV camera inspection program, targeting sections of Bega Valley Shire Council’s stormwater network will start in May. The program will assist the long-term management of the underground stormwater network, identifying potential maintenance issues for further investigation. Council’s Civil Assets Superintendent, Gary Louie said the eyes underground approach will pinpoint areas where work is needed. “This may be to identify pipes and other parts of the network requiring renewal or replacement,” Mr Louie said. “We have engaged experts in the field of underground asset investigation to provide an update on the condition of our stormwater network.
